Paris is known as the most romantic tourist destinations in the world, often called the city of love, city of dreams, or the city of lights. Paris has become synonymous with honeymoons, honeymoons romantic getaways and amazing artwork. To get the most out of your Paris vacation you’ll want to visit some of the following attractions.
Eiffel Tower
First on the list has to be the Eiffel tower, which is easily one of the most recognized historical monuments in Paris. From the top of the Eiffel tower the entire city of Pairs and beyond can be seen, even the curvature of the Earth is visible on the horizon! The tower is 300 meters tall, and even though there is almost always a long line going to the top it is definitely worth the wait.
Notre Dame Cathedral
Th Notre Dame Cathedral is quite special because it was the first cathedral built in Paris and was partially responsible for Pairs becoming the capital of France. The incredible Gothic architecture, stained glass, rose windows, and unique sculptures make the cathedral one of the most enchanting in the entire world.
The Louvre
A tripe to Paris cannot be completed without a visit to the famous Louvre Museum. One of the most interesting art museums in the world, the Louvre originally served as a fortress in the Middle Ages. Perhaps the most renowned painting currently housed in the museum is the famous Mona Lisa. It should be noted that it is nearly impossible to view all of the attractions in the Louvre in one visit. In fact, it has been said that it can take months to tour the entire museum thoroughly.
